This campaign is directed to the market of countries that doesn’t have a connection with the brand and doesn’t know its history. The challenge was to communicate Havaiana’s functional benefits - especially the comfort - as well as to tell curiosities and facts that have occurred since 1962. The inspiration comes from street posters which are so common in big cities. Typically artistic, provide a simple message and are usually plastered side by side in different visual compositions in public locations. So, this is a modular campaign where these posters complement each other. In addition, we have animated versions which can be used on different platforms and we can keep on designing new versions to be used in the future along with the existing ones. Besides the illustrated and the all type posters, support pieces were created with Havaianas’ proprietary graphic elements (rice and greek) as well as b&w images that convey a sense of lightness and comfort.
